    • Operate and maintain high speed encapsulation machine

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Operate and maintain fully automatic encapsulator
    • Be very familiar with parts, set up, adjustment and tear down of encapsulating equipment
    • Follow and meet production scheduling requirements
    • Work effectively with other employees
    • Complete all required documents for SOP’s and quality control
    • Keep work areas and all parts clean, organized and maintained properly
    • Perform other job functions as required

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION: High School degree

    EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 year encapsulation experience
                          Maintenance experience preferred

  2. Receiving/Bulk Shipping Supervisor

    Job Title: Receiving/Bulk Shipping Supervisor

    Department: Manufacturing

    Status: Full-time

    Report To: Director Of Manufacturing

    FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt

    Job Summary:
    Supervise the Receiving Operation to see that the following summarized tasks are completed: Unload, inspect and verify items as they are received, tag items with appropriate status/disposition, receive items in BioMedical’s computer system, pull samples, identify pallets/inventory, move inventory to appropriate warehouse storage locations.
    Pull/pick inventory items and prepare documentation to ship to other warehouse.
    Maintain and control inventory stored in the warehouse, perform cycle counts and physical inventories. Will instruct and perform observation test to certify forklift operator for Distribution Operations.

    Job Functions:
    Ensures that all staff members fulfill the following responsibilities at an acceptable level of performance:

    • Unload and inspect product for damage, verify receipt of items, verify product received to PO, pull samples as required, identify products received with status/disposition tags, process receipt of inventory items in MAS500, and back-flush as required, identify/tag inventory items and move to appropriate warehouse storage locations.
    • Pull/pick inventory items and prepare for shipment, verify items pulled and assure that they are released for shipment, prepare appropriate/required shipment documentation.
    • File freight claims as necessary for goods/products that are received damaged.
    • Research/Resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
    • Train receiving/shipping clerks to ensure each team member performs their job duties according to SOP’s.
    • Communicates directly to the Director of Manufacturing on all receiving and shipping errors.
    • Assists with follow-up and corrective action required for receiving and shipping errors.
    • All other duties that may be assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years of warehouse experience required.
    • Must have strong leadership qualities.
    • Must be able to lift 70 lbs., and stand for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to read, understand, and pull orders using various reports or pick-lists.
    • Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Must have the ability to come in early and/or stay late on occasion with short notice.

    4. Must have strong Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills to create simple to complex documents.
    5. Must be very detail oriented, have good organizational skills and have the ability to work under stringent time restraints.
    6. Good inventory management and inventory control skills
    7. Drive a box truck (Medical Card)

  3. Labeling Compliance Coordinator

    Job Status: Full-Time
    Salary Range: Negotiable, based on experience
    Department: Legal, Sandy, UT Head Office
    Reports To: VP Legal Affairs

    Job Description:
    Work with various in-house departments and independent distributors to ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulations for labeling dietary and food supplement products.

    Specific Job Responsibilities:
    • Ensuring that company’s labeling complies with FDA regulations and similar international regulations.
    • Coordination of U.S. label process.
    • Coordinates DSHEA Section 6 filings with FDA.
    • Working with independent distributors in compliance with company’s policies and procedures.

    Job Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of U.S. label regulations and specifications.
    • Knowledge of DSHEA.
    • Minimum of associate degree.
    • Experience in international label and product claim regulations helpful.
    • Self-motivated.
    • Be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent project management skills.
    • Proficiency in English required.
    • Proficiency in Spanish preferred.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    This will be responsible for the inputting into manufacturing software on a daily basis. They will ensure the accuracy of MBR’S, assist with scheduling and complete the filing of all manufacturing documentation.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Must be dependable, responsible and motivated.
    • Must be flexible and willing to assist wherever needed.
    • Must gain a thorough knowledge of manufacturing software and manufacturing policies and procedures.
    • Must be quality focused
    • Must have excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel.
    • Able to work well under pressure and meet stated deadlines.

    EDUCATION:
    College Degree or equivalent work experience will be considered.

    EXPERIENCE:
    Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Need to be able to type 40 wpm accurately and have 10 key experience.

    SPECIFIC SKILLS:
