4Life Founders Visit SOS Children’s Village

Vottinagulapally Village, India (November 13, 2009) 4Life Co-founders David and Bianca Lisonbee made their first visit to the SOS Children’s Village where they presented the village with gifts and spent time with the children in their homes.
“I cannot think of a better place to be introduced to India than this beautiful place,” Co-founder Bianca Lisonbee asserted. “No matter where we come from, there is one thing that unites every one of us on this planet: the children.”
The SOS Children’s Village is a worldwide organization with a branch in India that cares for over 200,000 children who have been abandoned or orphaned. Foundation 4Life has donated to the organization as a whole, and also sponsors the home of Maheswara, who has been an SOS Children’s Mother for six years.
“I’d like to express our heartfelt and sincere gratitude for Foundation 4Life,” Head of Institutional Fundraising for the SOS Children’s Village India Alpana Singh stated. “I look forward to a rewarding and long-term partnership.”
David and Bianca delivered 15 boxes of toys – one for every home in the village. They were also able to visit with Maheswara’s children, including Bhulaxmi, Angita, Lavanya, Prasanth, Rushitha, Prasenne, Kalyani, Kumari, Rakesh, and Damini, who range from four to thirteen years old.

“There’s a great spirit of warmth and love at SOS Children’s Village,” Chief Executive Officer David Lisonbee noted. “What better work is there to do, but with children?”
